The Company Corporation’s website states: “The first meeting of the stockholders of The Company Corporation (known at the time as The Corporation Agency of New Jersey) was held at 111 Market Street in Camden, N.J. on February 18, 1897.”
So, they have been in business for a while. That also means they no longer have any need to compete on price: their registered agent service is $199 annually, which is the highest of the agents in my recommendations. But if you can afford it, go for it.
In case you’ve seen this agent referenced as CorpAmerica, Inc., that was a competing company that the CSC acquired into its fold in 2003.
